Dear Ben,
My ex-wife and I were rescued by your book, "Back Off" a few years back. I don't know what we would have done without it. And I made her promise me we would never get ourselves in that situation again. But to make a long story short, she will never change. I allowed myself be pressured into building a new home a couple of years ago that was way more than we could afford and not long before I left, I caught her taping a credit card back together that I had made her cut up. I finally decided enough was enough and we have been divorced since last July. I am living with my mother. If it wasn't for her, I guess I would be homeless as it's taking every cent I make and then some to pay those bills from that marriage. We have had our house listed since May and have only had one serious offer and it fell through. I am at my wits end and dearly want to move on with my life. She is still living in the house and I'm paying half the mortgage. I hoped you had another lifesaving book to tell me what to do since the bankruptcy laws have changed or perhaps you have some advice. HELP! Can you help me save my life again?
Thanks so much,
Kenny Davis

Great job Benjamin on relaying the TRUTH about this second time around "failed the first time" program dubbed "Project Lifeline" Another tid bit of info. is that when the borrowers call into the hotline they get a debt collector take their budget and a month later the lender finaly sends them a letter offering a Forbearance. NOT GOOD! That is not a good option for the consumer, just the lenders! Here is why...when a consumer agrees to a forbearance plan, the lenders put everything that is owed on a pay back plan on the back of the loan. The one thing the Lenders NEVER tell them is that the borrowers will have a ROLLING 30 day late on the credit report EVERY month, compliments of the Lender, or until all that was owed in penalty's and late fees put on the back of the loan is paid back. NEVER!!!! Well that just ruined the borrowers chance of refinancing with 30 day late's on their credit report. 30 Day Lates DECREASE your score on average 60-90 Points!!!!! Thanks again Benjamin and keep them coming!!!!
